Reading Seats

There are 1280 seats and reading tables throughout the Library.

Multimedia Services

The Multi-media Services is located on the 4th floor of the Library. Materials of DVD, CD, CD-ROM, audio and video tapes and cassettes are collected in a broad coverage of subject areas. Appropriate multimedia stations are equipped to meet needs of various type of materials. A substantial collection of monographs and newspaper backfiles in the microform are also included in this service area. Self-service equipment is available for viewing these documents, and hard copies may be obtained.

Multimedia Classroom

On the 4th floor, the Multimedia classroom which accommodates 60 persons, is mainly used for library instructional programs and for group viewing if the classroom is not reserved for pedagogical purposes. Faculty and staff may also reserve this room at the Reference/Information Desk.
Reservations can be made as early as one month in advance. A valid NSYSU ID must be presented when making reservations.

Study Carrels

One hundred and five study carrels are available to faculty and second year graduate students who require a secluded workplace within the Library. Each study carrel is equipped with a desk, chair, book shelves and PC networked plug. Rooms can be reserved for one semester each time. Make reservations at the Circulation Counter. A valid NSYSU ID must be presented when applying reservations.

Seminar Rooms

The Library has nine seminar rooms for group discussion and instruction. Seminar rooms are located from the 5th floor to the 10th floor. Seminar rooms can only be reserved by faculty. When not reserved, rooms are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Reservations can be made as early as one month in advance. Make reservations at the Circulation Counter. A valid NSYSU ID must be presented when making reservations.

Photocopy Services

Card-operated self-service photocopiers are available on each floor of the Library. Users may obtain a copier card from the card dispensers located on the 3th floor. The cards obtained from the card dispensers cost NT$100. While Copier cards in the amounts of NT$115 are available at the Circulation Counter. Photocopying, transparency production, and A4 binding services are also provided. For details, contact Photocopy Service Assistant at the Circulation Counter.

Telephones

Campus telephones are available from the 6th to the 10th floor within the Library.
